Huang Qiang, male, Han nationality, is a native of Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province. He was born in 1963, graduated from Northwest Industry University in 1983, and joined the CPC in 1985. From 2006 to 2008, he was Secretary General of Committee for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. From 2008 to 2014 he was Deputy Director of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. From 2014 to 2020 he was Vice-Governor of Gansu Province. On February 2, 2021 be was elected Governor of Sichuan Province.
